Skream's Doing it Solo Once Again...

After the first play of his new remix of Katy B and Ms Dynamite's Lights On was aired on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last night...

Katy B - Lights On (Skream Remix) (Feat. Ms Dynamite)

...Skream has just uploaded three new tracks to his soundcloud.
They're all worth a listen, but for fairly different reasons.

First off is a great upbeat mix of his own track Burning Up released mid last year. He even chucks in a short Mike Skinner vocal sample a couple of times, a nice throwback for any fans of The Streets' older material.

Next, probably the most "typical" of the three for a Skream tune, Smoke Filled Room is melodic dubstep done properly.

Finally, a more minimal track with a slow building bassline and surrounding chimes, creating an interesting atmospheric experiance.

What Katy Did Next...

After the success of her first single, Katy on a Mission, and more recently, the fantastically catchy Magnetic Man track Perfect Stranger, on which she features, Katy B is back with a second single.
It's called Lights On, features Ms Dynamite, and below we've got a video of them performing it at this year's Notting Hill Carnival. There's a short interview with Katy in there as well.

Music video for this is out on Friday and a Skream remix yet to come, so watch out for them.

In the meantime, HERE's a link to her page on Rinse.fm with the video's to Perfect Stranger, Katy on a Mission and Louder, the B-side to her first single.

Also, almost two years old now, but definitely worth a listen, check out this Funky House track, As I by Geeneus, that she featured on.

And if you haven't seen them already, you should check out the the videos of Magnetic Man performing with live vocalists in the Radio 1 Studios at Maida Vale. Here's Katy B in the Perfect Stranger one:
